Neon support post

This is one of those things I was determined to have if I was going to continue my hobby of modeling realistic neon signs. These are the little posts that support the neon tubes. They come in many designs and configurations, but I settled on this one as resembling most of the ones I've seen. Normally the clear plastic part is threaded--I settled for ribbing as I figured we wouldn't be getting this close to one anyhow. Modeled and rendered in Modo.
